Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Automation Engineer (PCSAE)
The PCSAE certification validates the knowledge and skills required to develop, analyze and administer the Cortex XSOAR security orchestration, automation and response platform with native threat intelligence management.
Cortex XSOAR is a single platform that orchestrates actions across your entire security product stack for faster and more scalable incident response. The PCSAE validates that engineers can correctly understand the utility of out-of-the-box and custom playbooks and integrations. They are also able to identify customer processes that can be automated through XSOAR, and know how to customize XSOAR to reduce the Mean Time to Resolution leveraging the rest of their security products
Prerequisites
None, although it is recommended that students have equivalent of three years’ experience with incidents response processes and security incident management.

Target Audience
Anyone who wants to demonstrate knowledge, skills and abilities using Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSOAR functionality, including customers, partners, system engineers, analysts, and administrators.
Recertification
The PCSAE certification is valid for two years from the date you pass the exam. You must wait six months after becoming certified before taking another PCSAE exam. To keep your certification in active status, you must recertify by taking the PCSAE exam.
You can log in to the Palo Alto Certification Management System and look at the “Certifications” section to check whether your certification is still active or is about to expire.
