The Enterprise Architecture is the blueprint for the optimal use of technology and digital resources for the ultimate support of the business function. 
The goal of enterprise architecture is to create a unified digital environment across the organisation, with symbiotic links to their business side.  Enterprise architecture creates a map of IT digital assets and business processes and a set of governance principles that drive an ongoing discussion about business strategy and how it can be delivered through technology.
